Firecracker Slime Recipe

Firecracker Slime Recipe

Supplies Needed

  • 1 (147.9 ml) Elmer’s Blue Colour-Changing Glue
  • 1 (147.9 ml) Elmer’s Pink Metallic Glue
  • Elmer’s Magical Liquid (at least 136 ml)
  • White Foam Beads
  • Container for Mixing
  • Mixing Utensil
  • Measuring Spoons

  1. Pour out one (141.7 g) bottle of Elmer’s Glue into a container.

  2. Add 2 tablespoons of Magical Liquid and mix well. Then add 1 more tablespoon of Magical Liquid and mix.

  3. Mix until well incorporated. You will notice the mixture becoming harder to mix and slime beginning to form. Take the slime out and begin kneading it with both of your hands. If needed/too sticky, add a little Magical Liquid (1/2 tablespoon at a time) to get the desired slime feel.

  4. For the remaining glue, repeat steps 1–4. 6. Once both colours are created, lay them on top of each other and add foam beads to your slime, then swirl and twist! If you knead it too much, the colours will eventually mix and become one. Before you knead it too much, go outside and watch part of your slime change colour in the bright sun!

Adult supervision is required; this project is not appropriate for children under the age of 3 years. Always wash your hands before and after making and playing with slime.
